Deepika Padukone is celebrating thirteen years of the film, Om Shanti Om, which also commemorates 13 years of her debut in Bollywood, directed and co-written by Farah Khan with Mayur Puri and Mushtaq Shiekh. Today, as the movie turns 13, the actress changed the profile picture of her social media handles to a still from the film with also featured her first co-star Shah Rukh Khan, a still was from the film’s song ‘Dhoom Tana’ and also changed her name to ‘Shantipriya’ her character from the film.

Om Shanti Om also starred Shreyas Talpade, Arjun Rampal, Kirron Kher, Bindu Desai, and Javed Sheikh in supporting roles, apart from SRK and Padukone. The movie also saw cameos from many Bollywood celebrities in several sequences and songs. Produced and presented by Shah Rukh’s wife Gauri Khan under the banner Red Chillies Entertainment.
Fans have been trending #13YearsOfOmShantiOm on social media to celebrate the film’s achievement. The film also became the highest-grossing Bollywood film of the year 2007 and also won many awards, the critics also gave positive reviews for the film. Apart from the lead actors’ acting, the film also had smashing hit chartbusters like Dard-E-Disco, Aankhon Mein Teri, Main Agar Kahoon, and many more.
On the work front, Deepika will be seen next in Shakun Batra’s untitled film alongside Siddhant Chaturvedi and Ananya Panday. . Apart from this, she will also be a part of Prabhas’s next with Nag Ashwin.
