Priyadarshan’s comedy film Hera Pheri featuring Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty and Paresh Rawal turns 21 on Wednesday(March 31). The blockbuster film also featured Tabu, Om Puri, and Gulshan Grover in titular roles. The movie has become a cult classic all thanks to its hilarious scenes to rib-tickling dialogues. The movie is actually a remake of a 1989 Malayalam comedy, Ramji Rao Speaking, which is inspired by the 1971 TV movie See The Man Run.
Not many know that Sanjay Dutt was the first choice to play Shyam a role that was later done by Suniel Shetty. Also, Karisma Kapoor was the first choice for the role of Anuradha that was later taken up by Tabu.
