Bhuvaan – Lagaan

This Aamir Khan starrer Lagaan was set in the backdrop of India under British Raj i.e. 1893. The plot takes showcases how a tyrannical Captain Russell (Paul Blackthorne) imposes unprecedented land tax on Indians. Bhuvan (Aamir Khan) who desires justice comes out as a rebellious farmer and challenges these tax imposers. Aamir Khan won million hearts as Bhuvan with his charm, innocence and confident attitude.

Mahavir Singh Phogat – Dangal

Dangal is one of the most inspiring movie from Bollywood. It takes us to the life story of Mahavir Singh Phogat, a former wrestler who decides to his fulfil his dream by winning a gold medal for country. He trains his daughters for the Commonwealth Games while being facing social stigmas and financial struggles. How Aamir Khan shines out in this film? Well, its the way he portrayed the characters, he had to gain some kilos to keep it real. It also showcases the upside-down journey of a wrestler’s career and his life challenges.

 

Rancho – 3 idiots

3 Idiots is set in the backdrop of an Engineering college and how students study under pressure. The movie focus on three friends from a college-Farhan (R Madhavan), Raju(Sharman Joshi) and Rancho( Aamir Khan) the one who has a unique take towards studies and he has a refreshing outlook towards life. Rancho proves to the world how by mastering his skills and excellence in his field he becomes successful.

Aamir Khan portrayed a stranger in the city (who is basically an Alien). He asks questions that none of the grown up asks and his this curious behaviour makes people think that he is suffering through intellectual disability. However things turn take a new turn when he meets Anushka Sharma and tell her his truth. Audience loved seeing Aamir in such complex role. With his innocence and honesty PK ruled the box-office.

 

Sanjay Singhania – Ghajini

Aamir Khan portrayed the role of a business tycoon-Sanjay Singhania, who ends up suffering from acute short-term memory loss. His character cannot remember anything beyond fifteen minutes. He carries bunch of polaroid’s and gets tattooed so he can remember important details. His only aim in life is to kill Ghajini Dharmatma, who killed his girlfriend Kalpana after she founds out about a massive human trafficking racket. This one appears to be one of the most challenging role portrayed by Aamir Khan.
