Baahubali star Prabhas is all set to be seen playing the role of Lord Rama in the upcoming release ‘Adipurush’. The movie is being directed by Tanhaji fame Om Raut. The 3D action drama is said to be screen adaption of the Indian epic that revolves around the triumph of good over evil. Prabhas shared the first title poster of Adipurush yesterday morning that took the social media by storm.
The Pan-India star wrote, “Celebrating the victory of good over evil!”
As reported by sources to Tollywood net, National award-winning actress Keerthy Suresh’s name is under consideration to play the female lead. She will be seen essaying the character of Sita to Prabhas’ Lord Rama in Adipurush.
Produced by Bhushan Kumar, Adipurush will go on floors in 2021 and will release in 2022. There has been no confirmation of the same by the makers as yet.
On the work front, Keerthy Suresh has a number of big projects in her kitty. She will be seen romancing Mahesh Babu in ‘Sarkaru Vaari Paata’. Whereas Prabhas is awaiting the release of Radhe Shyam co-starring Pooja Hegde. The romantic drama helmed by Radha Krishna Kumar was majorly shot in Europe. The team was shooting in Georgia before the lockdown was imposed.
Prabhas also has Nag Ashwin film which is tentatively called, Prabhas 21. The film stars Padmavaat fame Deepika Padukone in the female lead role.
