Baahubali star Prabhas will soon be seen in Om Raut’s Adipurush. The actor will reportedly be joined by actress Keerthy Suresh. She will apparently be playing the role of Sita to Prabhas Lord Rama. The 3D action drama is said to be a
screen adaption of the Indian epic that revolves around the triumph of good over evil. We now hear Om Raut has roped in Saif Ali Khan to play the villain role in Adipurush.
As reported by sources to Bollywood Hungama, “Saif will feature in Adipurush. In fact, after seeing Saif’s performance in Tanhaji – The Unsung Warrior, Om was rather keen on casting him again.”
Sources added, “Obviously Saif would come on board only if his part was a good one, and apparently Raut has roped him in to play the villain. Now given that the film is an adaptation of the fight between good and evil, it is likely that Saif will be almost a parallel lead opposite Prabhas in Adipurush.”
Produced by Bhushan Kumar, Adipurush will go on floors in 2021 and will release in 2022.
But there has been no confirmation of the same by the makers as yet.
