Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Aaradhya test negative for Covid-19

On July 12, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan along with her 8-year-old daughter Aaradhya tested positive for the novel Coronavirus. Earlier, they were home quarantined, however, a few days later, they were shifted to Nanavati Hospital, Mumbai, and were in the isolated ward. Now, the mother-daughter has finally tested negative for Covid-19.

Confirming the same, Abhishek Bachchan who is also coronavirus positive, took to his Twitter and tweeted, “Thank you all for your continued prayers and good wishes. Indebted forever. 🙏🏽
Aishwarya and Aaradhya have thankfully tested negative and have been discharged from the hospital. They will now be at home.

However, the actor also stated that he and his father Amitabh Bachchan will remain in the hospital,My father and I remain in hospital under the care of the medical staff.”

A few days back, there were reports of Big B and Abhishek getting discharged from the hospital, denying the reports, Big B stated that these reports are ‘incorrect, irresponsible’.

“.. this news is incorrect , irresponsible , fake and an incorrigible LIE !!” wrote Amitabh.

However, Jaya Bachchan, Shweta Bachchan, and her kids Navya Naveli Nanda, Agastya Nanda, including all the staff members were tested for Coronavirus and have been tested negative.

The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) had sealed all four bungalows- Jalsa, Pratiksha, Janak, and Vatsa, after sanitization, of the Bachchan’s family and declared as containment zones. Although, on July 26, BMC officials removed containment zone banners from the gates of Bachchan’s bungalow as it’s been 14 days since Big B and Abhishek tested positive for Covid-19.
