Ajay Devgn is all set to venture into the digital world. On Tuesday, the ‘Drishyam’ actor announced his first web show titled ‘Rudra- The Edge Of Darkness’ which will be released on Disney+Hotstar. The actor also shared the release date of the crime thriller.
The ‘Singham’ actor shared the promo and tweeted as: “Happy to announce the crime thriller of the year Hotstar Specials ‘Rudra – The Edge Of Darkness’. This one’s going to be ‘killer’ @DisneyplusHSVIP 😉#DebutDobara #Rudra @ApplauseSocial @BBCStudiosIndia @nairsameer”

In the web show, Ajay Devgn is all set to essay the role of a cop, however, this time the character will be more intense, complex, and dark. The series will soon be going into production and will be shot across iconic locales of Mumbai.
‘Rudra- The Edge Of Darkness’ will be directed by Rajesh Mapuskar of ‘Ferrari Ki Sawaari’ fame, and will be produced by Applause Entertainment in association with BBC Studios India. It is a remake of the British series ‘Luther’ which was a big hit and originally played by Idris Elba. His performance as a detective was simply brilliant and won hearts around the globe.
