The teaser of Netflix’s anthology Ajeeb Daastaans is here. The anthology titled Ajeeb Daastaans is produced by Karan Johar’s Dharmatic Entertainment The stories are directed by Kayoze Irani, Neeraj Ghaywan, Raj Mehta and Shashank Khaitan.
Ajeeb Daastaans has an ensemble cast including Abhishek Banerjee, Aditi Rao Hydari, Armaan Ralhan, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Inayat Verma, Jaideep Ahlawat, Konkona Sen Sharma, Manav Kaul, Nushrratt Bharuccha, Shefali Shah and Tota Roy Chowdhury in the lead roles.
Sharing the teaser, Karan wrote on Twitter,”It’s here… A collaborative effort, yet uniquely individual. Presenting #AjeebDaastaans with 4 exceptionally talented #DirectorsOfDharma, coming together to weave 4 individual stories that are stranger than reality itself.”

The teaser open up with Fatima Sana Shaikh decked up as a new bride for her wedding night. We next catch a glimpse of Konkona Sen Sharma, who seems to be sipping tea and later consistently punching a man. In another clip, Aditi Rao Hydari is seen driving a scooty with Konkona riding a pillion. Nushrratt Bharuccha is seen as a sari-clad mother of a school-going girl
Netflix has described the anthology as four diverse stories exploring emotions like jealousy, entitlement, prejudices and toxicity, The films raise questions between what’s right and what’s wrong as the lines get blurred.
Ajeeb Daastaans premieres on 16 April, only on Netflix.
