South superstar and politician Kamal Haasan‘s daughter Akshara Haasan was in for a rude shock when her private photos were leaked on the internet. The actress who had marked her Bollywood debut in ‘Shamitabh’ filed a police complaint stating that she had no idea who was behind the act.
Akshara also took to the social media and in a lengthy Twitter post wrote, “It’s particularly disturbing and deeply upsetting to see that at a time when the nation has woken up to the #Metoo movement, there are still people who would harass and attempt to share private pictures of a young girl in the public eye, only to derive some perverse pleasure that appeals only to them.”

But now the matter has taken a new twist with veteran actress Rati Agnihotri’s son Tanuj Virwani being named as the one with whom Akshara had shared her private pics.
As per a report in Mumbai Mirror, the Versova police will be very soon questioning Tanuj Virwani.
Tanuj, who made his acting debut in 2013 with ‘Love You Soniyo’, denied having received any communication from the police. He further added that he never had any such photos. His spokesperson said that Tanuj will be happy to help his friend.
Incidentally, Tanuj’s mother Rati, and Akshara’s father Kamal Haasan had debuted together in Hindi cinema in 1981 with the superhit ‘Ek Duuje Ke Liye’.
