Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif starrer cop drama Sooryavanshi is set to hit the theatres. Recently Rohit Shetty and Katrina were spotted promoting the movie on Ranveer Singh’ tv show The Big Picture. But Akshay Kumar was missing in action. The actor was busy shooting for Ram Setu in Ooty.
Here is some good news for Akkians. The superstar will soon be seen promoting his film during Ind vs Pak ICC T20 match.
As reported by sources to Bollywood Hungama, “Akshay’s fans need not worry. The superstar will make up for his absence as he’ll dominate the promotions once he’s back in a day or two. On Sunday, October 24, he’s going to join Katrina Kaif and Rohit Shetty for an interesting segment during the ICC T20 India vs Pakistan match. Just before the match, the trio would entertain audiences and it’s something to watch out for. Considering that the whole country will be watching this match, the makers couldn’t have thought of a better platform to promote Sooryavanshi.”
Sources added that though the match will take place in Dubai, Akshay Kumar, Katrina Kaif and Rohit Shetty will shoot the segment at the Star office in Mumbai. Post this Akshay will be seen actively promoting Sooryavanshi at events, interviews tv appearances etc.
Today the makers shared the Aila Re Aillaa song from Sooryavanshi. It has Ranveer Singh, Ajay Devgn and Akshay Kumar in their cop avatar. The much-anticipated track has all the 3 cops of Rohit Shetty’s Cop Universe dancing like nobody is watching. Sooryavanshi will release in theatres on 5th November!
