Photos: Akshay Kumar meets Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath in Mumbai

On Tuesday, Akshay Kumar met Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath at Trident Hotel in Mumbai. The CM has arrived for a two-day visit during which he will be meeting industrialists as well as Bollywood personalities regarding the film city in Noida.

“Maharashtra: Actor Akshay Kumar called on Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath at Mumbai’s Trident hotel where the latter is staying. UP Chief Minister will launch Rs 200 crores Lucknow Municipal bond at Bombay Stock Exchange tomorrow,” tweeted ANI.

“The Bollywood personalities who will come-a-calling include Subhash Ghai, Rajkumar Santoshi, Bonnie Kapoor, Bhushan Kumar, Jatin Sethi, Rahul Mitra, Neeraj Pathak, Randeep Hooda, Tigmanshu Dhulia, Jimmy Shergill, et al,” PTI reported.

Reportedly, on Wednesday, Yogi Adityanath will be meeting bankers and film personalities at the Oberoi in Mumbai Hotel starting from 10.30 am till 3 pm, he is also expected to speak to the press after that.

The state government spokesperson said, “Meetings with film personalities are important in regard to the setting up of a hi-tech film city in Noida. He (Yogi) is going to meet 41 celebrities of the film world. The CM already met several film personalities regarding the infotainment city to be built on 1,000 acres of land in Sector 21 of Yamuna Authority of Noida.”

Earlier, in September, the CM announced that he wants to set up the country’s “biggest” film city in the state’s Gautam Buddh Nagar, “The CM, while addressing a review meeting, announced to set up the biggest and most beautiful film city of the country in Gautam Buddh Nagar. He instructed officials to search for a suitable land in or around Noida, Greater Noida or Yamuna Expressway and prepare an action plan,” an official statement said.
