On Friday (September 24 ), the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) officially announced about reopening all the religious places in Maharashtra, wherein common people will be allowed to visit from October 7. There are around 1,000 cinema screens across Maharashtra, which employs lakhs of people. Owing to the pandemic restrictions, the film industry in the state was badly affected. The state officials on Saturday announced about allowing the Cinema Halls to resume their business by reopening the theaters across the state. Theaters to be reopened from October 22. Following this big announcements by the state, film producers officially announced the release dates for the much anticipated films. Akshay Kumar’s Sooryavanshi, Ranveer Singh’s Jayeshbhai Jordaar and 83, Saif Ali Khan’s Bunty Aur Babli 2 and other big banners get new release dates.
Yash Raj Films is awaiting to release several big films such as Saif Ali Khan, Rani Mukerji, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Sharvari Wagh starrer Bunty Aur Babli 2, Akshay Kumar, Manushi Chhillar, Sanjay Dutt and Sonu Sood starrer Prithviraj, Ranveer Singh and Shalini Pandey starrer Jayeshbhai Jordaar, Ranbir Kapoor, Vaani Kapoor and Sanjay Dutt starrer Shamshera. The production made an official announcement of release dates of these films.
Ranveer Singh starrer cricket drama- ’83 is one of the most anticipated film. This Kabir Khan directorial also gets a new release date. The film is based on the life story of legendary cricketer Kapil Dev, it gets a Christmas Eve 2021 release date.
Akshay Kumar’s highly anticipated film, Bachchan Pandey also gets a new release date. Kriti Sanon will be seen sharing the screen space with AK and it will be unveiled theatrically on March 4, 2022.
Shahid Kapoor and Mrunal Thakur’s upcoming cricket drama, Jersey also gets a new release date i.e. December 31, 2021. This one is an official Hindi remake of Telugu flick, titled the same.
