Ali Abbas Zafar’s Superhero Flick Featuring Katrina Katrina Acquired By Netflix?

Katrina Kaif is one such actress in Bollywood, who is known for breaking the stereotypes with her performances in movies as well as her personal life. She is known for mesmerizing her audience with her great dance performances, acting skills and actions packed scenes. As per the reports, the actress is now all set to foray into the world of a superhero’s flick. And not just that, the production rights for the film have also been acquired by the streaming giant, Netflix.

Earlier there were reports, that the filmmaker, Ali Abbas Zafar has been considering making a superhero franchise with the ‘Bharat’ actress. However, there were no official details out about the same. And now, we hear that the OTT platform Netflix has acquired the right to produce this film. As per the latest report in Bollywood Hungama, a source close to the project informed the portal, “Yes, Netflix has acquired the film, and it will now be developed as a Netflix Movie.”

“Earlier Ronnie Screwvala was producing the film under his banner, but with the Covid-19 lock downplaying havoc, the OTT platform has now taken over. Ali was always planning on making the superhero film into a franchise. But now with Netflix taking over, the film will be made in two parts,” the source added further.

Apparently, the superhero flick is expected to go on the floors this year and the film will be made in two different parts.
