Famous for his character, “Guddu Bhaiya” in Mirzapur, Ali Fazal has bagged yet another international film. Prior to this British film, Ali Fazal has worked in famous Hollywood Fast and Furious 7. It looks like Ali could not contain the happiness of signing the project. Hence, he rushed his shooting for Mirzapur Season 2 and flew to London for a week to get training for the yet-to-titled British movie.
According to the report, Ali Fazal has been signed while the female lead is yet to be finalised for the film. He plans to travel between Mumbai and London for a few weeks before the shooting starts, to prepare for his role. This British film is scheduled to be released in November this year.
Ali used to travel from Mumbai to Uttar Pradesh for the shooting of Mirzapur. A source close to the development told DNA India, “Ali had to request makers of Mirzapur to allow him to take a week off for which he shot extra to make up for his absence. The team was understanding and accommodating. He’s taken off to London where he will work with his international team on the project and undergo an extensive week-long training comprising workshops and reading sessions before heading back to India to resume shoot here.”
Ali has also worked with Academy Award winner Judi Dench in Victoria & Abdul, wherein he essayed the role of young Indian prison clerk. He has recently signed one more Hollywood project which happens to be a biopic of a soldier belonging to Iraq. The biopic is likely to go on floors in March 2020.
Meanwhile, he is working with Saif Ali Khan and Fatima Sana Sheikh for Bhoot Police.
