Amitabh Bachchan Gets Discharged From Nanavati Hospital; Tests Negative For COVID-19

Bollywood superstar, Amitabh Bachchan had been under medical observation at the Nanavati Hospital alongside his son, Abhishek. After the father and son duo tested positive for COVID-19 infection. Both of them have been in isolation treatment for almost 25 days now. The ‘Gulabo Sitabo’ actor now finally gets discharged from the hospital, as confirmed by his son on social media platforms.

Earlier there were reports that Amitabh and Abhishek both were getting discharged from the hospital upon testing negative for the infection. However, Sr. Bachchan slammed these reports, stating that they were fake. Both had been seeking treatment at the hospital so far. Now, his son took to his official Twitter handle and shared the update with his fans. Abhishek in his cryptic tweet post wrote, “My father, thankfully, has tested negative on his latest COVID-19 test and has been discharged from the hospital. He will now be at home and rest. Thank you all for all your prayers and wishes for him.” In a separate tweet, Abhishek shared that he again tested positive for the virus and he will remain in the hospital: “I, unfortunately, due to some comorbidities remain COVID-19 positive and remain in hospital. Again, thank you all for your continued wishes and prayers for my family. Very humbled and indebted. I’ll beat this and come back healthier! Promise.”

In his another tweet post, he revealed that unfortunately due to some commodities he remains COVID-19 positive and still in the hospital.
