Amitabh Bachchan receives second dose of COVID-19 vaccine

Owing to the second wave of Coronavirus outspread in India, a rapid surge in fresh cases was recorded. Many states including Maharashtra, Telangana, West Bengal have extended the lockdown dates. A huge number of people off late have received the second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. Amitabh Bachchan treated his fans with the picture as he receives the second jab.

Big B took to his Instagram handle and shared the picture. It appears he received the jab at his residence and he is seen dressed up in his casual clothes. He carried the mask and a bandana. Cracking a joke in the caption of his post, he wrote, “दूसरा भी हो गया! Covid वाला, Cricket वाला नहीं ! sorry sorry that was a really bad one.”

 

For the unversed to be a helping hand in India’s COVID-19 fight, Amitabh Bachchan recently made the contribution of Rs. 2 crores to the Delhi Gurdwara COVID Centre. He also arranged the oxygen cylinders from abroad for the facility.

Talking about the COVID-19 tally, on Sunday (May 16), India reported 3,11,170 new COVID-19 cases, 3,62,437 discharges and 4,077 deaths in the span of the last 24 hours, according to the data issued by the Union Health Ministry.
