Amitabh Bachchan Trolled Yet Again For Sharing Fake #9pm9minutes Satellite Image

Bollywood’s megastar Amitabh Bachchan is quite active on social media, he loves to share his views and daily activities with his loyal fans. But lately, the actor has been creating quite a stir on the internet, courtesy of his “controversial” tweets. The Shahenshah had earlier claimed that rising decibel levels would destroy the effect of coronavirus. He had later tweeted that the deadly virus is caused by flies. He was trolled by netizens for the fake theories.

Big B has done it once again.

On late Sunday night, Big B retweeted a picture, which claimed to be a satellite photo of India during the #9pm9minutes activity. PM Narendra Modi had appealed to the nation to switch off all lights of houses on April 5 at 9 PM for 9 minutes, and just light a candle, ‘diya’, or flashlight, to show the unity of Indians in the fight against coronavirus.

“When the world was wavering! Hindustan was shining! Today’s picture is telling this,” the picture was tweeted alongside this post. Bachchan quote retweeted the photo by writing, “The World sees us.. we are ONE..”

The picture in question is not a satellite photo of India during the #9pm9minutes activity on Sunday. It is a photoshopped image of Google’s visualization of the global effects of the #MeToo movement. It showcased India brightly lit as people were searching for some more information on the movement.

Soon netizens started trolling the superstar for sharing fake pictures. Check out some of the reactions here:
