South actress, Payal Ghosh has accused Bollywood filmmaker, Anurag Kashyap of sexual assault. Days after levelling many accusations against the ‘Gangs Of Wasseypur’ director, he now gets summoned by the Mumbai Police on Tuesday i.e September 29.
Payal Ghosh after accusing Anurag Kashyap on Twitter of sexually harassing her seven years back, had filed an FIR at Mumbai’s Oshiwara Police Station. She alleged that the filmmaker had forced himself on her in his office. Now, according to a report by ANI, Mumbai Police summons the film director asking him to appear at the Versova Police station tomorrow at 11 am, in connection with the alleged sexual assault against actor Payal Ghosh.
For the unversed, after levelling assault accusations against the filmmaker, she had asked the government to safe guard her and provide her the security. Seeking the Y-category security, she met the Union Minister, Ramdas Athawale and Maharashtra Governor, Bhagat Singh Koshyari on Tuesday.
