The film stars Arjun Kapoor and Alia Bhatt in the lead role. It was helmed by Abhishek Verman and the movie was an adaptation of Chetan Bhagat’s movie.

Half Girlfriend

The plot of the film revolves around the life of Madhav Jha, a student from Bihar, who takes admission in a Delhi college. He falls in love with Riya Somani(portrayed by Shraddha Kapoor), a modern and most famous girl in the college. He coaxes her to be his girlfriend, but she is not interested in him romantically. The film showcases the bitter-sweet moments of their life. The film was helmed by Mohit Suri, it is an adaptation of Chetan Bhagat’s book titled same.

Gunday

Arjun Kapoor and Ranveer Singh’s performances was highly appreciated by audience as well as critics. The film revolves around the life of childhood friends Bikram and Bala, who aspire to take over the coal mafia in order to rule and earn well. The duo unknowingly fall in love with the same woman, Nandita(portrayed by Priyanka Chopra), which leads to a rift forming between the two. The film was helmed by Ali Abbas Zafar and it went to garner good box-office collection. 

Ki & Ka

The film showcases the story of Kia(portrayed by Kareena Kapoor), an ambitious woman who marries Kabir, a man who prefers the role of a house husband. They enjoy their unconventional relationship until challenges including ego clashes and jealousy set in. The film showcases the unconventional ways of  couple living together and overcoming their differences. The film was helmed by R. Balki and it went on garner much love from the audience

Mubarakan

The plot of the film revolves around, an eccentric man who helps his estranged twin nephews to marry the women they love. Both orphaned and raised apart, the twins come together to serve a greater purpose in each other’s life. The film was helmed by Anees Bazmee and it was received  well by the fans.
