Arjun Tendulkar makes it to the Under 19 squad

Arjun Tendulkar gets selected in the Under 19 squad for Sri Lanka tour. The tour will begin in the month of July with two four day matches and 5 one day matches. Arjun Tendulkar is son of the the master blaster Sachin Tendulkar.
The legend feels that it’s an important milestone in his son’s career.

Delhi Wicket keeper batsman, Anuj Rawat will lead the pack in four day matches. He made his first class debut for in the last season for Delhi. Aryan Juyal of Uttar Pradesh will lead the side in limited overs. He made his List A debut in the Vijay Hazare Trophy.

Arjun Tendulkar has been sweating it out with 25 other players at Dharamshala for a month long camp. Coach WV Raman will accompany the side for this tour as Rahul Dravid is in England with the A squad.

Arjun Tendulkar follows and idolizes Mitchell Starc and Ben Stokes from the International circuit. He himself is an astonishing all rounder. A good tall fast bowler who bats in the middle order. Recently conducted Spirit of Cricket global challenge saw an all round performance by Sachin Tendulkar’s son. He took 4 wickets in 4 overs and scored 48 runs in just 27 balls against Hong Kong cricket club.
