Uma Maheswara Ugra Roopasya: Baahubali makers to remake Malayalam blockbuster Maheshinte Prathikaram

After all time blockbuster movies Baahubali The Beginning and Baahubali 2: The Conclusion, now makers of Baahulbali series are all set to remake Malayalam blockbuster film titled Maheshinte Prathikaram.

For Maheshinte Prathikaram remake, makers have reportedly given responsibility to Venkatesh Maha to direct the film. Venkatesh Maha had previously helmed critically acclaimed movie C/O Kancharapalem. Notably, the remake of Maheshinte Prathikaram will be titled Uma Maheswara Ugra Roopasya.

Maheshinte Prathikaaram is a 2016 comedy-drama, directed by Dileesh Pothan and produced by Aashiq Abu. The film starred Fahadh Faasil, Anusree, Alencier Ley Lopez, Aparna Balamurali, and Soubin Shahir.

 

The lead role in Uma Maheswara Ugra Roopasya will be portrayed by Satyadev Kancharana. According to reports, makers have already shot the film and currently busy in some post production work.

Uma Maheswara Ugra Roopasya also stars Naresh, Suhaas, Jabbardast Ramprasad, TNR, Ravindra Vijay and K Raghavan in the supporting roles.

The makers have recently dropped 58 second long glimpses showcases the story of Uma Maheswara Rao, proprietor of Komali Photo Studio from Araku Valley.

According to reports, the film is based on the life of a photographer named Uma Maheswara Rao, who runs a photo studio named Komali Photo Studio in the town of Araku Valley.

Baahubali producers are planning to release Uma Maheswara Ugra Roopasya on 17th April 2020.
