Beyhadh 2: Jennifer Winget and Shivin Narang starrer to go OFF-AIR

Here’s a shocking piece of news to all the ‘Beyhadh 2’ fans. Jennifer Winget, Shivin Narang, and Ashish Chowdhry starrer Beyhadh 2 will be going off-air after the coronavirus lockdown ends.

In an official statement, Sony TV told the Times Of India, “Given that all shoots have been stalled since March, owing to the unprecedented situation we are in, the show couldn’t shoot their logical ends. Having said that, keeping the best interests of all in mind and in joint agreement with the producers, it has been decided to terminate these shows, as of now.”

Talking about the same, Prateek Sharma, producer of ‘Beyhadh 2’ said, “We all are in an unprecedented situation here and I would totally agree and go ahead with channel’s decision in this matter as whatever they will decide will be in the best interest of all the concerned parties, including producer, actors, writers and the rest of the crew.”

Shivin Narang who played the role, Rudra Roy, in the show, expressed his disappointment towards the news and told SpotBoye, “To be honest, as a team, we don’t even have the clarity yet. But considering the situation, anything is possible. Beyhadh 2 is a big brand, a show with a huge fan following. Personally, I feel, it’s a finite show already nearing the end, so if we could provide a logical conclusion, it would do justice not only to the show but also for the viewers.”

Along with ‘Beyhadh 2,’ Sony TV’s two more shows, ‘Ishaaron Ishaaron Mein’ and ‘Patiala Babes’ will be going coming to an end as well.

‘Beyhadh 2’ is an Indian romantic drama thriller television series which premiered on 2 December 2019 on Sony Television.
