On Wednesday, Bhumi Pednekar joined the cast of Aanand L Rai’s, ‘Raksha Bandhan.’ The actress will be reuniting with Akshay Kumar after ‘Toilet: Ek Prem Katha.’ The ‘Durgamati’ actress shared a happy picture on her social media handle and express her excitement.
Bhumi Pednekar tweeted as: “A very special film & a very special reunion. Am supremely excited to be collaborating again with two of my favourite creative powerhouses & humans. Am full of gratitude to be a part of this special, heart-touching story #RakshaBandhan @akshaykumar @aanandlrai”

Apart from ‘Toilet: Ek Prem Katha’, Akshay and Bhumi have also worked together on ‘Durgamati’, on which Akshay served as co-producer. Whereas, this will mark the director’s second outing with Akshay after their yet-to-be-released romantic drama ‘Atrangi Re.’
‘Raksha Bandhan’ is presented by Aanand and Akshay’s sister, Alka Bhatia. The film is backed by Colour Yellow Production in association with Cape of Good Films. The film is based on the special bond between a brother and a sister. The makers are yet to announce the rest of the cast of ‘Raksha Bandhan.’
