On the occasion of Nandamuri Taraka Ramarao’s 98th birth anniversary, his grandson Nandamuri Kalyanram has unveiled the title teaser of his upcoming film. The movie titled Bimbisara is a socio-fantasy actioner. It is being produced by N. T. R. Arts. In the teaser, we get a glimpse of Kalyan Ram as a fierce and feisty barbarian king of the mythical land. He is dressed in an attire of a warrior and holds a huge sword as he sits on a pile of dead bodies that form his throne.
Sharing the title teaser Kalyan Ram wrote, “In a mythical land lost to history, there lived a barbarian King. This is his tale. Presenting #Bimbisara(sic)”.
Bimbisara is made on a huge budget and is being directed by debutant director Mallidi Vashista. Kalyanram is reportedly playing a double role in the film that has two timelines-the 13th century and the present. The movie also features Samyuktha Menon as a journalist and Catherine Tresa essaying the role of a warrior queen. But the makers still have to make a confirmation for the same as yet.
Kalyan Ram also wished his grandfather NT Rama Rao on Twitter with a heartfelt note. “You are our fame, you are our glory .. O cosmopolitan, therefore our light #joharntr.”
