Birthday girl Soha Ali Khan has today turned 40. Soha celebrated her special day with her hubby Kunal Kemmu and close friends from the film fraternity last night.
Kunal Kemmu threw a grand birthday party for Soha in Mumbai last night. The birthday celebration was attended by filmmaker Karan Johar, actress Neha Dhupia, Rannvijay Singha, Priyanka Singha, Arshad Warsi, Maria Goretti, Sophie Choudry, Shruti Seth, Gaurav Kapur and others.
On her 40th birthday, here are some interesting facts.
Soha was born to veteran Bollywood actress Sharmila Tagore and the late Nawab of Pataudi, Mansoor Ali Khan, on October 4, 1978. Soha’s older brother is Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan and older sister Saba Ali Khan is a jewellery designer.
Soha attended The British School in New Delhi and Balliol College, Oxford. She has a Master’s degree in International Relations from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
Before venturing into Bollywood, Soha worked for the Ford Foundation and Citibank.
Soha made her Bollywood debut with Shahid Kapoor and Ayesha Takia starrer Dil Maange More in 2004. In the year 2006, Soha’s performance in Rang De! Basanti helped her bag the IIFA Best Supporting Actress Award.
Later, Soha turned an author and penned her own experiences in the book titled The Perils of Being.
Soha and Kunal Kemmu got married in January 2016. Soha and Kunal welcomed baby girl Inaaya Naumi Kemmu on September 29 in 2017.
