The makers of Captain Marvel are all in for a team up of Marvel Cinematic Universe superheroes Captain Marvel/Carol Danvers and Valkyrie. This thought occurred when social media was flooded with fan artwork featuring Brie Larson’s superhero bonding with Valkyrie. The character, played by Tessa Thompson, was introduced in ‘Thor: Ragnarok’. She was also a part of the Avengers: Endgame team to beat Thanos.

Check out even Brie and Tessa approve of the team-up:

Marvel Studios had already revealed that Valkyrie was a bisexual. Therefore Captain Marvel who has no romantic interest in the movie was considered to be Valkyries mate by fans. Now the directors of Captain Marvel have also expressed interest.

While speaking with Cinemablend, Ryan Fleck said, “There’s been a lot of… look, I have no idea what the plans are for the future. But the speculation online about Carol and Valkyrie teaming up, I think, is a pretty cool, pretty cool idea.”

Anna Boden, who co-directed the movie, said, “She’s one of my favourite women of Marvel.”

There has been talk of all-female MCU movie for a long time, and Avengers: Endgame made sure that both Carol and Valkyrie are here to stay in the cinematic universe. We do hope to see Carol the future leader of the new generations of Avengers and Valkyrie the leader of the Asgardians coming together.

This is bound to make Captain Marvel and Valkyrie fans, who are rooting for the crossover, extremely happy.
