Rajiv Kapoor passes away: Neha Dhupia, Lata Mangeshkar and others mourn his death

On Tuesday, late Rishi Kapoor and Randhir Kapoor’s younger brother Rajiv Kapoor passed away due to a cardiac arrest and was taken to Inlaks General Hospital in Chembur. Rajiv made his acting debut with Ek Jaan Hain Hum in 1983 and starred in multiple films such as Aasmaan (1984), Lover Boy (1985), Zabardast (1985).

Randhir Kapoor confirmed the news and told the Times of India, “I have lost my youngest brother, Rajiv. He is no more. The doctors tried their best but could not save him.”

Many netizens and popular celebrities like Neha Dhupia, Lata Mangeshkar, Soni Razdan, and others flooded social media to pay their condolences.

Rajiv’s sister-in-law and actress Neetu Kapoor went on to share a picture of Rajiv and wrote ‘RIP’.
