Actor Chiranjeevi is one of the most loved stars of the South Indian film industry. Ever since the lockdown, the actor has been keeping fans updated through social media. He joined Instagram in March. Recently, the actor posted a ‘Then and Now’ picture with his wife on Instagram.
For the Instagram picture, Chiranjeevi is seen recreating an old photo of the couple from 30 years ago. They even wore similar clothes for the photo. However, it is the caption of the picture that has the fans laughing. Chiranjeevi has written in the old picture ‘joyful holiday in America 1990’. There is a similar picture underneath it with the title ‘jail-full holiday in Corona 2020.’ This was obviously referring to the coronavirus lockdown that has forced everyone to stay in their homes.

Fans were quick to react to the post when Chiranjeevi shared the photo. They showered the post with love and also said the picture brought back a lot of nostalgia. Actor Sumalatha commented, “one of the most inspiring couples I have known, stay blessed & happy always”. In addition, actor Khushbu Sundar also reacted to the post. She wrote, “This is cute..nothing has changed in these 30yrs”
Meanwhile, on the work front, Chiranjeevi was previously seen in Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy. He played the character of Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy in the film. The film was directed by Surender Reddy.
As per several media outlets, Chiranjeevi was slated to appear in Acharya next. It would have marked the 155th film for the actor. Directed by Koratala Siva, the movie was scheduled to release in 2020.
