Late Kannada star Chiranjeevi Sarja‘s wife Meghana Raj is quite active on social media. A day before, shehad taken to Instagram to share an adorable video. The actress had promised to announce her son’s name today. The video is a compilation of short videos from her and Chiranjeevi Sarja’s Hindu and Christian wedding ceremonies. Today, as promised she revealed that her son has been named Raayan Raj Sarja.
Raayan apparently means ‘little prince’ in Sanskrit, while the Arabic meaning of his name is to ‘gates of paradise/ heaven’.
Meghana Raj captioned the video, “The name is…. (sic).”

The video was taken when Raayan Sarja was five months old. It shows him smiling and playing. Earlier Meghana’s ten-month-old son was fondly known as Jr Chiru, Chintu and Simba. The video was also shared by Jr Chiru’s uncle, actor Dhruva Sarja.
Meghana’s husband, the Sandalwood actor Chiranjeevi Sarja, passed away on June 7, 2020, in Bengaluru. The talented actor’s death was due to a massive cardiac arrest. At the time of his demise, Meghana was five months pregnant. Meghana Raj welcomed a Baby boy on October 22, 2020.
Meghana, is best known for her works in Malayalam and Kannada films. She recently shared that she is back on the sets. The actor is reportedly working on ad shoots and is likely to be signing movies in the upcoming months.
