After the end of a tumultuous relationship between Pete Davidson and her daughter Kaia Gerber, Cindy Crawford’s son is now making headlines by unveiling a new face tattoo. Presley Gerber has shared the process of him getting a tattoo via an Instagram video. He has gotten the word “MISUNDERSTOOD” written underneath his right eye in all caps.
While Presley Gerber wrote “Thanks Homie,” in the caption of his post, the artist had a different take on the tattoo. JonBoy Tattoo also shared a few images of his work with that was captioned “Sorry mom.”
The internet was not kind towards Presley Gerber and his new tattoo though.
One user wrote, “The only thing misunderstood is that tattoo. You just ruined your canvas.” While another user compared it to a mental breakdown. “This seems very Amanda Bynes mental breakdown. Where is your mom????? Terrible idea.” In addition, another wrote, “Really? Misunderstood? It’s not the placement that weirds me out, it’s the text. What you trynna be, Leto’s Joker?”
This isn’t Presley Gerber’s first tattoo by a long shot. Last month, he got tattooed with his sister Kaia Gerber from NYC artist Evan Kim. While Kaia went for a bouquet of flowers on her wrist, Presley chose to add some text that was already on his fingers. Presley and Kaia worked together in a Calvin Klein Denim campaign back in 2018.
“I love working with him and every time we book a job together I get excited,” Kaia told People “At first when we were starting out, we used to shoot a lot together and we would just be there for each other, which is important, especially just starting in such a scary industry — to have someone there that you’re comfortable with.”
