Coolie No 1: Massive Fire on sets of Varun Dhawan & Sara Ali Khan film

Varun Dhawan and Sara Ali Khan are sharing screen space for the first time in ‘Coolie No 1 remake’. It is a remake of Govinda and Karisma Kapoor starrer 1995 movie of the same name. A massive fire broke out on the sets of the film on Wednesday. This incident took place at Filmistan Studio in Goregaon, Mumbai around 1am.

There were 15 workers present on the sets they immediately called the police and the fire brigade. The fire was put out and no casualty was reported. The reason behind the sudden incident and the extent of the damage is yet to be known.

Coolie No 1 is being directed by David Dhawan and is produced by Vashu Bhagnani, Jackky Bhagnani and Deepshikha Deshmukh. The movie also stars Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav, Rajat Rawail and Johnny Lever. The shoot of the movie had kickstarted in Bangkok.

Varun Dhawan will play the role of Govinda and Sara will be reprising the role of Karisma Kapoor in the remake. The actors will soon shoot for a revamped version of a popular song ‘Husn Hai Suhana’.

The film’s first look was revealed on Sara’s birthday last month and the posters were also unveiled. This is Varun Dhawan’s third collaboration with his father David after the super success of last two films Main Tera Hero and Judwaa 2.

Coolie No 1 remake is slated to release on May 1, 2020.
