Coronavirus Crises: Sanjay Dutt And Suniel Shetty Help Mumbai Dabbawala’s

The pandemic Coronavirus outspread led the entire country towards an extended lockdown for more than three months now. The daily wage workers are the one’s who are suffering the most due to the pandemic lockdown. Several Bollywood celebs were seen helping the migrant workers. After, Sonu Sood, Sanjay Dutt and Suniel Shetty now help Mumbai Dabbawala’s. The actors in coordination with Aslam Shaikh, cabinet minister for Textiles, Port, Fisheries & Guardian Minister-Mumbai City, have come forward to help Mumbai’s hardworkingh dabbawalas.

As per the report in Mumbai Mirror, the actors and the minister are providing food to affected families. While talking about the same, Suniel informed, “It’s an initiative started by Aslam Bhai and Sanju, I had no hesitation in joining hands with them. Prema Cha Dabba becomes even more beautiful when everyone gets together”.

The also has informed the daily that food trucks have already been sent to Pune, where a bulk of these dabbawalas have camped themselves during the pandemic. Apparently, 800 kits of rice, dal, sugar, atta and oil have been delivered to Khed and Malval so far. An NGO named Save The Children India has been active in the area and helping them out carrying on the activity.

He added further, “The NGO has staff on ground to look into everything. We have a three-month plan in place.”
