Deepika Padukone’s father Prakash hospitalized; Sister and mother test COVID-19 positive

Bollywood actress, Deepika Padukone’s father, Prakash is a former Indian badminton player. Prakash Padukone alongside his wife Ujjala and his younger daughter, Anisha tested positive for the Coronavirus. The actress’s father has been taken to the hospital, according to the latest reports.

Deepika Padukone’s parents live in Bengaluru and thus her father has been admitted to a hospital in Bengaluru itself. He is currently 65-year-old and reportedly, he is likely to get discharged by the end of this week. According to a report by PTI, Vimal Kumar one of the close friends of the Prakash, informed, Around 10 days back, Prakash, his wife (Ujjala) and second daughter (Anisha), they developed symptoms and got themselves tested and the results came out to be positive.”

“They got themselves isolated but after a week Prakash’s fever didn’t come down, so last Saturday, he was admitted to a hospital here in Bengaluru. He is okay now. All his parameters are fine, his wife and daughter are at home and he too will be hopefully discharged in 2-3 days,” Kumar informed further.

Prakash Padukone is the first Indian to win the prestigious All England Championships title in 1980 and he is known to have inspired millions of people with his performances on the badminton field.

For the unversed, Deepika Padukone didn’t share anything on her social media handles about her parent’s health condition.
