Newlywed Ranveer Singh along with director Rohit Shetty and the leading lady Sara Ali Khan came together for the trailer launch of their upcoming film ‘Simmba’. The film’s producer Karan Johar and the COO of Reliance Entertainment, Shibashish Sarkar, were also present at the trailer launch, at Mumbai on Monday.
During a media interaction, Ranveer Singh revealed the reaction of his wife Deepika Padukone after watching the action-packed trailer. He said, “On my birthday, Deepika saw the rushes but she never reacted after watching the trailer. She just turned around and said you look hot.”
The smitten hubby further added, “I have already become the boyfriend of the millennium. Now, I am working towards becoming the husband of the millennium.”
Ranveer Singh is playing the role of a no-nonsense cop Sangram Bhalerao and has the pretty Sara Ali Khan depicting the role of his love interest in the movie that is a remake of a hit Telegu film ‘Temper’. The movie also has a cameo by Ajay Devgn and the entire Golmaal team will also be a part of the much awaited film.
‘Simmba’ is directed by Rohit Shetty and jointly produced by Rohit Shetty and Dharma Productions. It will hit the screens on December 28, 2018.
