Dia Mirza welcomed her first child in May month with hubby, Vaibhav Rekhi. Baby Avyaan was apparently kept under a strict medical attention for arriving earlier. On Friday (September 17), Dia introduced her newborn to fans with an heartfelt post on social media platform. The emotional mother shares an adorable first picture with him alongside penning heartfelt lines on how he was cared by the tireless nurses and doctors at the Neonatal ICU.
Dia took to her Instagram handle and shared a picture with monochrome filter. Dressed up casually, she is seen holding the baby gently in her arms. Baby Avyaan appears having a blissful time with his mother. Alongside his first complete picture, Dia penned an heartfelt note, wherein she expresses gratitude for all the doctors, nurses and people who cared for the baby. She also reveals that baby Avyaan taught them humility, grace, and power of prayer and how the baby complete them in every way.
For the unversed, Dia Mirza and Vaibhav Rekhi got married on February 15 this year. Their wedding festivities were privately hosted in the presence of very close friends and family members amidst COVID-19 challenges. Soon after getting married, the couple jetted off to Maldives for their honeymoon to announce about expecting their first child together. In May, she announced about welcoming their baby earlier than the expected time.
