Sejal Sharma, who played the character of Simmi in Star Plus’ Dil Toh Happy Hai Ji has decided to leave the show. Sejal took to her Instagram handle and posted a few pictures with her colleagues from the show and wrote an emotional post along with the pictures.
She wrote, “This is not the end, but, the beginning of a beautiful TV journey! It’s heartbreaking to say goodbye to the show “Dil To Happy Hai Ji” but necessary because no thing, good or bad, is constant and it was one of the most amazing journey with the most amazing lot of people.” She also wrote that her character Simmi was very close to her heart.

Sejal hails from Udaipur and she appeared in many TV commercials for brands like Motorola, Usha fans, Clean and clear, Honor mobiles, Mumbai Indians, Vivo Mobile, and Veet among others. She then worked in daily soaps like Laal Ishq, Zindagi U Turn. Dil Toh Happy Hai Ji was her third show. She also worked in a music video Kho Jaate Hain for Sony LIV.
Sejal got rave reviews for her role in Dil Toh Happy Hai Ji and her character was loved by the audience.
