Dilip Kumar’s brother Aslam Khan passes away due to COVID19

Legendary actor Dilip Kumar‘s younger brother Aslam Khan passes away on August 21, 2020. Aslam Khan breathed his last early morning in Lilavati Hospital. He was 88 years old. Aslam Khan was admitted to Lilavati Hospital and had tested COVID-19 positive. He had diabetes, hypertension, and ischaemic heart disease.

News agency ANI tweeted, “Aslam Khan, younger brother of veteran actor Dilip Kumar passed away early morning today. He had diabetes, hypertension and ischaemic heart disease and had tested positive for #COVID19: Lilavati Hospital, Mumbai”

On Sunday, Dilip Kumar’s wife Saira Banu got brothers Aslam and Ehsan Khan admitted to the hospital. They had tested positive for COVID-19.

Dr. Jalil Parker from the hospital had earlier told HT, “They have been kept in ICU but we haven’t intubated them as yet. Considering their age and pre-condition health issues like diabetes and hypertension, we have to be extra careful while treating them.”

Aslam Khan was 88, while his elder brother Ehsan Khan is 90 and still struggling for life.
