Disha Patani Reveals She Was Bed-Ridden A Week Before ‘Slow Motion’ Shoot

Salman Khan and Disha Patani’s recent song ‘Slow Motion’ from Bharat has already garnered more than 17 million views on YouTube in less than 24 hours. Both Salman and Disha looked ravishing in the party song. The Slow Motion song begins with Bajrangi Bhaijan’s daredevil stunts followed by Disha Patani’s killer and sexy dance steps in a yellow saree.

Do you know that prior to shooting this song, Disha Patani was bed-ridden? Yes, you might be thinking Disha’s dance steps are effortless, but it took a lot of sweat and blood. In an interview, Disha Patani told Mumbai Mirror,  “I remember breaking my knee while rehearsing. I was also practising gymnastics simultaneously. You must have seen the front flip and other stunts in the song. I was actually over training and broke my knee a week prior to the shoot.”

Revealing more about the rehearsal, she told the publication, “I couldn’t walk and was literally on the bed before the shoot started. It was really hard for me. After every take, I had to use a cold press, which hurt a lot. But I am happy to see the result and feel that everything was worth it.”

She also revealed that they were only shooting at night during its schedule. She also said that there is no doubt it was quite hard for her but she enjoyed a lot as well. She loves such a peppy massy number.

Sharing her experience working with Salman Khan for the first time, Disha said, ” Salman Khan is such a sweet person. I never felt intimidated because he makes everyone confortable and is extremely helpful and co-operative. There’s so much to learn from him. At this stage also, he is so hard working and gives his 100 per cent to each take. I am fortunate to get this opportunity and be a part of such a big ensemble.”

On the professional front, Disha Patani will next be seen in Bharat which also features, Salman, Katrina Kaif, Tabu, Nora Fatehi and Jackie Shroff in the lead role. The film is scheduled to release on June 5, this year.
