Canadian rapper Drake has been pretty elusive when it comes to his son Adonis. While Adonis was born in 2017, Drake has not shared much about his son with former porn star Sophie Brussaux. However, Drake has now shared the first photo of his son through his Instagram account.
Drake has shared a series of photos with his son Adonis who is a curly blonde with big blue eyes. The caption has Drake reflecting on the important things in life amidst the coronavirus outbreak. “What is most important for you right now is to connect to your own inner light,” he captioned a series of pictures of his loved ones.
He also wrote that “I love and miss my beautiful family and friends and I can’t wait for the joyful day when we are all able to reunite.”
Though Adonis was born in 2017, Drake did not acknowledge the information in public until his nemesis Pusha T revealed the news in a diss track. Drake would go on to confirm that he had fathered a child in the song “Emotionless”.
On the other hand, Sophie Brussaux announced the birth of Adonis in October 2017.
Drake would eventually confirm that he had indeed fathered a child in the song “Emotionless” from his 2018 album, Scorpion. The rapper has maintained his silence when it comes to Brussaux.
In a December 2019 interview with Rap Radar, Drake explained that he was skeptical about whether he was the father of the child. This was due to Adonis’ strikingly different appearance. He waited for the DNA results and shared the news after he got the confirmation.
