The much-awaited teaser of Mohanlal-starrer Drishyam 2 is out. The sequel of the hit 2013 thriller Drishyam is all about Mohanlal as Georgekutty trying to save his family from murder conviction once again. Drishyam also features Meena, Ansiba Hassan and Esther Anil. It is all set to premiere on Amazon Prime Today.

The teaser begins with Mohanlal as Georgekutty telling a cop that he believes the new police station will protect his family. But it seems like the past is all set to rise from the grave and haunt Georgekutty and his family in the sequel. But Georgekutty is not the one to take things lying down, he will once again give his all to save family.
Jeetu Joseph, who wrote and directed Drishyam, has helmed Drishyam 2.
Drishyam had emerged as the highest-grossing Malayalam cinema of 2013. It had garnered more than Rs 50 crore box office collection worldwide. The film revolved around the efforts of a father, who tries to cover-up the murder committed by his family.
It was remade in many other languages, including Chinese (Sheep Without a Shepherd). In Hindi, we had Ajay Devgn playing Mohanlal’s role.
