Filmmaker R Balki”s upcoming psychological thriller has been titled ‘Chup’. The makers revealed the title of Sunny Deol Dulquer Salmaan starter with an intriguing motion poster. The movie also features Pooja Bhatt in a pivotal role.
Dulquer Salmaan took to his Twitter handle and shared the motion poster. He wrote, “Been waiting for this day for a while now !! Here’s the first look at our ambitious #ChupRevengeOfTheArtist”
Dulquer even thanked Akshay Kumar and Amitabh Bachchan for sharing the motion poster of Chup.
The motion poster was unveiled on the death anniversary of the legendary filmmaker Guru Dutt. The maverick filmmaker had passed away aged 39 on October 10, 1964.
“‘Chup’ is an ode to the sensitive artist, and Guru Dutt is right on top of that list. I have had the story for a long time and I am glad we finally wrote it and are almost done filming it,” Balki said in a statement.
The screenplay and dialogues of ‘Chup’ have been co-written by Balki and critic-turned-writer Raja Sen and Rishi Virmani. The movie is co-produced by Pranab Kapadia and Anirudh Sharma and is looking for a 2022 release.
