The year 2018 had everything to do with weddings. After Anushka Sharma-Virat Kohli, Sonam Kapoor-Anand Ahuja, Deepika Padukone-Ranveer Singh and Priyanka Chopra-Nick Jonas, several other Bollywood stars are gearing up for their wedding.
Farhan Akhtar and his rumoured girlfriend Shibani Dandekar, after ringing in the New Year, have joined the list as they might get married soon. However, the couple did not reveal their wedding plan yet but they have been making public appearances together.
According to a report published in DNA, the couple might get married anytime soon. An industry source close to the lovebirds told the daily that the couple is extremely serious about each other. “Farhan’s children have also warmed up to Dandekar, so this looks like the most obvious step for the two,” the source added.
Notably, Farhan and his girlfriend Shibani Dandekar even celebrated the New Year’s eve together. Farhan shared a picture featuring his kids seated very close to his new love of life. It looks like his children do not have any issue with Farhan’s sweetheart.
Recently, Farhan Akhtar and Shibani Dandekar were spotted together at Deepika Padukone’s wedding reception. Farhan Akhtar and Shibani Dandekar’s relationship rumour sparked after they were spotted on multiple occasions walking hand in hand.
Notably, Farhan Akhtar was earlier married to hair-stylist Adhuna Bhabani for 16 years. Unfortunately, they announced their split in 2016 and ended their 16-year-old marriage.
On the work front, the Farhan is working with Priyanka Chopra in Shonali Bose’s ‘The Sky Is Pink’. The film also stars Zaira Wasim and Rohit Saraf in lead roles.
