Just recently, the makers of Kumkuma Bhagya resumed shooting for the new episodes of the show, post the pandemic Coronavirus lockdown. While the cast and crew gear up themselves for the show’s TRP ratings, another obstacle came their way. On Saturday, a fire broke on the sets of the show. The actors confirm that they are safe.
The videos are surfacing on social media, where the sounds of blast could be heard from the sets of Kumkum Bhagya. Analysing the sounds, the fire seems of a massive one. The crew members could be seen calling people out of the studio. As per the report in India Today, the shooting for the show was going on when the fire broke out on the sets. The fire brigade and police reached on time and no casualties were recorded. The report claims the reason for the fire seems to be a short circuit.

The show is produced by Ekta Kapoor. Due to the sudden fire break out the shootings have been paused. One of her another show, ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay’ shoots were also paused because three days after resuming the shoots, show’s lead actor, Parth Samthaan tested positive for Covid-19 and crew were kept on quarantine.
