Tamil Actor Florent Pereira Breathed His Last Due To Covid-19

Renowned Tamil actor, Florent Pereira breathed his last after testing positive for the Coronavirus infection. The passed away on Monday night at an hospital in Chennai. Apparently, he was hospitalised two weeks ago and his health condition got deteriorated just few days back.

South Indian filmmaker, Seenu Ramaswamy took to his Twitter handle and shared the news with his fans. He shared an heartfelt note of the actor, which read, “I can’t believe this. Film actor, Kalaignar TV Ex GM, good hearted, soulful Mr Florent Pereira you are in the midst of us. RIP Father. My deepest condolences to his family & friends (sic).”

The late actor is said to have been featured in approximately 50 Tamil films. He made his acting debut with Vijay’s romantic-drama ‘Puthiya Geethai’. Few of his popular films are ‘Kayal’, ‘Kumki’, ‘Thodari’, ‘VIP 2’ and ‘Taramani’ to name a few. Most popularly he portrayed the father’s characters on screen.
