Hardik Pandya accepts tedious challenge thrown to him by Rashid Khan and Krunal Pandya

Being a cricketer is a challenge in itself. Players are always looking to get the better of each other in some way or the other. Spinners dominate in the sub continent condition but when they travel to countries that offer very less assistance to the spin bowlers, it becomes very difficult. In such a situation, can a spinner opt for a bouncer, just as the fast bowlers? The three Indian Premier League stars had something to say about this.

Indian left-arm spinner Krunal Pandya, too, recently used a bouncer to great effect. In a video shared by the 27-year-old on his official social media account, he can be seen banging it in short and almost knocking off a batsman.

“Why should fast bowlers have all the fun?” he captioned the post.

One of the first people to reply to this post was none other than Afghanistan’s spin sensation Rashid Khan. He agreed with Krunal on his bouncer view and said, “Exactly we should work on it.”

Krunal was quick to agree with Rashid, but asked for a ‘deal’ wherein the two won’t bowl bouncers to each other. “@rashidkhan_19 , yes we should. But let’s not bowl this to each other. Deal?” he said.

Rashid agreed to the ‘deal’ but asked, tongue-in-cheek-, whether they could bowl bouncers to Krunal’s brother Hardik. “Deal done @krunalpandya24 bro . Can we bowle to @hardikpandya7 Bro,” he wrote.

Hardik, preparing for the Test series in England at the moment, joined the banter and accepted the challenge by Rashid. “Challenge accepted!” he replied.

Rashid had the final word in the fun conversation as he replied to Hardik: “That’s call All rounder @hardikpandya7.”

A heartwarming sight to see two Indian youngsters having great friendship with an Afghanistan player. Couldn’t have been possible without the Indian Premier League.
