Salman Khan Unveils The First Poster of Hawa Singh’s Biopic

Superstar Salman Khan has taken to social media and unveiled the first poster of biopic ‘Hawa Singh’. The movie features Sooraj Pancholi in the titular role of legendary boxer Captain Hawa Singh, better known as the Father of Indian Boxing. The movie will be directed by Prakash Nambiar.

Salman Khan took to Twitter to share the first poster. He captioned it as, “Hawa se baatein karega singh… #HawaSinghBiopic @Sooraj9pancholi”.

The movie is being produced by Sam F Fernandes and Kamlesh Singh. Though not many details of the film are yet out. The poster reveals that the movie will soon be going on the floor.

Sooraj Pancholi was last seen in Satellite Shankar.

Hawa Singh had won National Boxing Championship Title undisputedly for 11 years in a row from 1961 to 1972. No other boxer could equal his record to date. Hawa Singh is the only Indian boxer who won two Gold Medals at the Asian Games. He won these medals in the 1966 Asian Games which were held in Bangkok and the 1970 Games which were also held in Bangkok, Thailand. After retirement, he established The Bhiwani Boxing Club for the training and development of aspiring boxers. The Bhiwani Boxing Club produced champions like Vijender Singh, Akhil Kumar, and Jitender Kumar.
