Himanshi Khurana who gained immense popularity with the reality show, Bigg Boss 13 took to her Instagram handle and informed her fans that she has tested positive for the novel Coronavirus. The Punjabi actress revealed that she detected the virus after she participated in the farmers’ protest in Mumbai on September 25, 2020.
Sharing the news on her social media handle, the singer-model wrote, “I want 2 inform u all dat i hv been tested positive 4 covid-19 even after taking proper precautions. As you all know that i was the part of the protest day before yesterday & d area was crowded so i thought to get d test done before i go for my shoot today evening.”
“I jst wanted to inform people who came in my contact to get ur test done & please take proper precautions in d protest. Its my request to all the people protesting to not forget that we are going through pandemic so please take proper care.” wrote Himanshi.

Apart from Himanshi, artistes like Diljit Dosanjh, Ammy Virk, Shivjot and many others from Punjabi entertainment industry extended their support to the farmers protesting across India on Friday. Many people, including Himanshi’s boyfriend Asim Riaz took to his Instagram story and applauded his girlfriend’s move.
