It has been a year that Irrfan Khan left his fans in a shock when he tweeted about suffering from a neuroendocrine tumour. The actor after being treated in London is back in the city and has once again resumed work. The 52-year-old actor has begun shooting for Homi Adajania’s ‘Angrezi Medium’ in Udaipur.
Irrfan Khan’s wife Sutapa Sikdar penned an emotional note calling the entire last year as “the longest year of our life. Sutapa Sikdar took to Facebook and penned a note thanking fans for their prayers and wishes.

She added that she is grateful for all the prayers and well-wishes that Irrfan and she received that helped her to stay focused. On Irrfan’s return to work, Sutapa said that they are taking one day a time.
On the work front, Irrfan is shooting for ‘Angrezi Medium’ that is a sequel to the hit film Hindi Medium that released in 2017. Pakistani actress Saba Qamar shared screen space with Irrfan Khan in the popular film. It is reported that Kareena Kapoor will be seen playing a pivotal role in Angrexzi Medium that also features Radhika Madan.
