Singer Jennifer Lopez and former New York Yankees baseball star Alex Rodriguez have parted ways after four years of togetherness. The couple had got engaged two years back. According to Page Six and TMZ, the couple called it quits on Friday. There is no word yet on what caused the split. But rumours abound that the reason could be about Rodriguez FaceTiming Southern Charm star Madison LeCroy.
But neither Lopez nor Rodriguez have confirmed the break up reported by the New York Post’s Page Six and TMZ.
Lopez, 51, and Rodriguez, 45 got engaged in 2019 after dating for over two years. Back in March 2019, the former New York Yankee had gone down on his knee and proposed to J.Lo during a romantic getaway to Baker’s Bay. But the couple had to postpone their nuptials twice due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Earlier in the year, Alex faced headlines about his relationship—with Southern Charm star Madison LeCroy. The Bravo star described the athlete as an “acquaintance” who she’s never met in person. A source close to Alex said that he doesn’t even know Madison.
At present Lopez was in the Dominican Republic filming her latest film, “Shotgun Wedding.” She posted Thursday on social media saying “Find a good reason to laugh today.”
Rodriguez, for his part, posted a picture of himself aboard a boat in Florida.
Lopez has 12-year-old twins with ex-husband Marc Anthony, while Rodriguez is the dad of two daughters with ex Cynthia Scurtis.
