Shahid Kapoor was last seen sharing the screen space with Kiara Advani in ‘Kabir Singh’. The film had managed to garner good box-office collection, however, it had also garnered negative limelight after netizens criticized the director for glorifying the violent character. Shahid is currently gearing up for the release of his next, ‘Jersey’ and now he treats his fans with the De Dhana Dhan prep look.
After unveiling his new look for the upcoming flick, Shahid Kapoor took to his Instagram handle and shared the picture from himself. He could be seen stepping into the field with a cricket bat in his hands. ‘Jersey prep, De Dhana Dhan’, he captioned the picture.
Talking about the film, ‘Jersey’ is the Hindi remake of hit Telugu film titled the same. The Hindi version is being helmed by Gowtam Tinnanuri, the one who had directed the original film of 2019. The plot of the film revolves around the life of a skilled, yet failed cricketer, who makers his comeback in the field to fulfil his son’s wish. Besides Mrunal Thakur and Pankaj, ensemble cast will be seen sharing the screen space with Shahid Kapoor.
